2017 Miss Contraband Days Callie Brevelle

Miss Contraband Days 2017 is Callie Brevelle. She is the 20 year old daughter of Mark and Laurie Brevelle of Lake Charles. Callie is a junior at McNeese State University majoring in Health and Human Performance with a concentration in Sports Medicine. She is beginning her third year as a McNeese Cowgirl Kicker. She is currently their Kicker representative for the MSU Student Government Association and is a newly elected Cowgirl Kicker officer.

 

Callie enjoys teaching dance at Tammy Palmer’s Center Stage and choreographing for local school cheer and dance teams. She is an avid workout enthusiast and likes experimenting with healthy recipes. Callie also enjoys bike riding, boating with her family and friends, and spending time with her little sister Whitney.

 

Callie’s awards and honors include graduating Summa Cum Laude from Alfred M. Barbe High School, captain for the Barbe JV cheerleaders and captain for the Barbe Bluebelles, McNeese President’s honors list, and she received the McNeese Cowgirl Kicker “Rookie of the Year” scholarship. After obtaining a bachelor’s degree from McNeese State University, she plans to attend PTA school. Later, she hopes to balance a career as a physical therapy assistant while raising a family here in her hometown of Lake Charles.

 

Callie is the first Miss Contraband to have captured all six Contraband titles offered throughout her lifetime. She was Petite Miss Contraband 2002, Little Miss Contraband 2004, Deb Miss Contraband 2006, Junior Miss Contraband 2011, Teen Miss Contraband 2013, and is now your Miss Contraband 2017.
